Responsibilities Providing respectful, person‑centred support in daily living activities Assisting with community participation, appointments, and social engagement Supporting personal care needs in a professional and dignified manner Encouraging independence and helping clients work toward their goals Maintaining accurate documentation and communicating effectively with the team Promoting a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment You’ll support Tangata with their individual needs and daily living activities — no qualifications or prior experience required. Our Kaiāwhina Skills Framework training takes place during your first two–four weeks of employment and includes practical training, online self‑directed learning and working alongside a buddy trainer. MōhouAke | About You Love working with people and helping them thrive Hold a Level 3 or Level 4 Health and Wellbeing qualification or have equivalent, relevant experience Spinal injury experience Stoma management experience Experience in the use of a full, standing and two‑person hoist Experience administering prescribed medication Intuitive and responsive to people’s needs Have a patient, calm, and kind demeanour Own a smartphone Have the right to work in New Zealand Full/restricted driver’s licence Weekend availability is essential – either every weekend or at minimum every second weekend He aha aimātou? | Why Us Flexible hours – mornings, evenings, weekends Extra $1.00 per hour for weekend work!
