Cleaner / Car Groomer (Casual)

We are looking for a Cleaner / Car Groomer (Vehicle Service Agent) to keep our fleet looking its best. This casual position is based in Picton at 16 York Street and is available as and when needed. Essential to our operations: you will need to be physically fit, have a keen eye for detail and be comfortable with hard work. Responsibilities Ensure rental vehicles are clean and ready for customers, including washing, vacuuming, waxing, and detailing both interior and exterior. Shuttle vehicles to maintain appearance and readiness. Inspect vehicles for new damages and report per the damage procedure. Review returned vehicle gas levels and kilometres, and accurately input data into hand‑held devices. Refuel gas tanks, check fluid levels, and monitor tyre condition, pressure, and tread depth. Complete necessary paperwork and documentation. Maintain cleanliness of the rental car lot and surrounding areas. Work as part of a team to ensure vehicles are ready for customers in a timely manner. Follow safety and security protocols at all times. Qualifications Full, clean, valid Class 1 driver’s licence. Previous experience in a hands‑on or physical labour role. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, in all weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Team player with a friendly, positive, ‘can‑do’ attitude. Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards. Availability to work as needed during operating hours (8am–8:30pm, 7 days a week), including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays. What’s on Offer Pay: $24.89 per hour.
