Project Coordinator

We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Project Coordinator to join our Albany based Support Centre team on an 18-month fixed-term contract. This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering projects that directly impact our stores, customers and business performance across New Zealand. Working alongside experienced project leaders, you'll help coordinate significant initiatives including new store openings, ownership transitions and strategic store change programmes. What You'll Be Doing Coordinating project activities, timelines, milestones and action plans Supporting delivery of store change initiatives, including new stores and change of ownership projects Managing project documentation, reporting, dashboards and governance updates Tracking risks, dependencies and key actions to ensure delivery stays on course Supporting communication and engagement across Support Centre teams, stores and external partners Preparing project updates, meeting outcomes and delivery insights for stakeholders Ensuring project teams have clear visibility of priorities, progress and next steps What We're Looking For Previous project coordination experience within a complex business environment Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail The ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills Confidence working across different teams and functions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel An understanding of project delivery, governance and business change environments Why you’ll love working with us Mitre 10 team member discounts Attractive package Flexible working options Birthday leave (your special day off, on us!)
