Midwifery Manager – Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Hospital Job Type: Permanent, Part Time, 64 hours per fortnight (0.8 FTE). About the Role As the Midwife Manager, you will provide operational leadership for inpatient and outpatient maternity services, ensuring safe, high‑quality, and evidence‑based care is delivered across the service. Working closely with the Maternity Leadership Team, you will lead service delivery, workforce planning, budget management, and quality improvement initiatives, while fostering a culture of compassion, professionalism, and continuous learning. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for leading a large and diverse workforce, maintaining strong relationships with Lead Maternity Carers, clinicians, and community partners, and driving service improvements that enhance the experience and outcomes of women, pregnant people, newborns, and their whānau. You will play a key role in supporting equitable access to care, leading change, and ensuring maternity services continue to meet the needs of our growing community.
