Laboratory Technician - Chemistry

Laboratory Technician – Chemistry State‑of‑the‑art Danone laboratory based in Mangere – part of the Quality and Food Safety team. This is a full‑time position, Sunday – Thursday, 10:00 am–6:30 pm, 40 hours per week. Responsibilities Adhere to published methods and procedures as per ISO 17025‑2017. Carry out assigned testing as per approved methods. Support any investigation related to laboratory non‑conformance. Support verification of chemical and physical test methods. Operate laboratory equipment according to equipment manuals and related Laboratory SOP. Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment. Keep stock of laboratory materials for testing and projects. Prepare chemicals and reagents required for testing. Qualifications Minimum 1 year in an ISO 17025 Chemistry laboratory or a new graduate with relevant education. Good understanding of basic chemistry, biology and physics principles. Knowledge of requirements for chemistry testing of infant formula. Working knowledge of GLP, GDP, GMP and GHP. Computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) and ability to learn and adapt to new software tools; experience with an information management system preferred. High level of accuracy and sense of urgency.
