Fitter/Welder – Rotorua $32–$38 per hour | Full-Time | Immediate Start Are you a skilled Fitter/Welder looking for your next opportunity? We're seeking an experienced and reliable tradesperson to join a well-established engineering company in Rotorua. This is a hands‑on role working on a variety of fabrication, maintenance, and installation projects with the potential for long‑term work. What You'll Be Doing Fabricating and welding steel components to a high standard. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings. Fitting, assembling, and installing fabricated components. Carrying out repairs and maintenance on machinery and equipment. Using a variety of workshop tools and fabrication equipment. Working safely while maintaining high‑quality workmanship. What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Fitter/Welder. Strong MIG welding skills (TIG and ARC experience advantageous). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. Reliable with a strong work ethic. Full Class 1 driver's licence and reliable transport. Able to pass a pre‑employment drug test.
