We are looking for a Business Growth Advisor to join the Hawke's Bay Regional Business Partner (RBP) team. Help shape the future of Hawke’s Bay business! Everyday you’ll work alongside ambitious business owners, helping them solve challenges, unlock opportunities and grow stronger businesses. This is a Fixed Term Part Time Role until 30 June 2027 About the role You'll be the person business owners turn to for guidance and support across a wide range of industries. No two days are the same, you might be discussing growth strategy with a manufacturer in the morning, helping a start-up access capability funding after lunch, and connecting an established exporter with specialist expertise before the day ends. Key Responsibilities Meet with Business Owners to discuss their needs and priorities, then connect them with various support agencies and service providers who can help fill their skill gaps. Offer sound information and facilitate access to capability development options. Determine eligibility for capability development funding and oversee its allocation, monitoring outcomes with the customer. Collaborate with Innovation Services and the wider Hawke’s Bay Chamber of Commerce team where necessary. Monitor customer engagement and funding allocation, contributing to reporting as needed. Build relationships with registered capability development service providers.
