Operations Supervisor

As a member of the Lineage team, you will play a critical link in the food supply chain while leading a dynamic operations team in Timaru, NewZealand. About the role This full‑time position leads a team of up to ten warehouse operatives, supervising day‑to‑day activities to deliver reliable, high‑quality services to our customers. What you’ll be doing Supervise and coordinate the work of warehouse operatives to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard and within set timelines. Monitor and optimise warehouse workflows and processes to drive productivity and operational excellence. Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations. Provide regular reporting and performance updates to senior management. Foster a positive, co‑operative and safety‑focused work culture. Assist with the training and development of warehouse staff. What we’re looking for Minimum 3years of experience in a warehouse or logistics operations supervisory role. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control processes. Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities to address operational challenges. Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a logistics environment. A cooperative and adaptable relationship builder focused on continuous improvement.
