Location: Wellington Regional Hospital Contract: Permanent, Part Time 0.8 FTE Rostered and Rotating About the Role The Associate Charge Nurse Manager (ACNM) will provide clinical leadership and clinical support to the nursing team. This role provides cover from 7.00 until 9.30pm. The ACNM will also support the Charge Nurse Manager with the day to day running of the ward, performance appraisals and performance development. The ACNM will use their experience and skillset to role model best practice and support the diverse workforce on the ward. About the Team / Service / Location Ward 6 North is a 36 bed multi-specialty ward. This service provides care for patients from both Orthopaedics and Urology specialties. Ward 6 North is a supportive team who are friendly and welcoming. On our ward, we have Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Senior Nurses and Health Care Assistants who work collaboratively to provide the best health outcomes for patients. Our team are passionate and knowledgeable, who are committed to giving our patients the best experience during their journey. About you The ACNM will be a registered nurse with surgical experience, have the ability to lead and motivate others, have a positive attitude and a high standard of patient care.
