Skydive Mt Cook, a premier Tourism Operator in New Zealand, is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Customer Service/Ground Crew. As the face of our company, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional experiences for our valued customers while contributing to the success of our operations. Responsibilities Customer Engagement: Be the welcoming and positive presence for Skydive Mt Cook, greeting customers and providing clear instructions for their skydiving experience. Inform customers about available options and upsell our skydive products to enhance their visit. Reservations Management: Handle reservation inquiries via email, website, and live chat promptly with a less than 24‑hour turnaround. Maintain our reservation systems and schedules, considering weather forecasts, pickup availability, and other bookings. Coordination: Liaise with tour drivers and hosts to ensure their needs are met and assist with client pick up and drop off services. Coordinate with our base driver for timely transportation arrangements. Operational Support: Assist in ensuring smooth daily operations, from opening the airport and preparing visitor areas to loading and unloading aircraft. Harnessing and briefing passengers on Tandem Skydives, uphold safety procedures, and maintain a clean and comfortable environment. Sales and Upselling: Showcase our skydiving products to customers and upsell where possible to enhance their experience. Local Sales and Marketing: Ensure all local agents and affiliates are being communicated with and kept up to date on operations and marketing material. Ensure our marketing team have new footage uploaded weekly to create content for group marketing and sales. Communication: Clearly and intelligently communicate with customers about weather conditions and potential time delays. Maintain professionalism and provide excellent customer service throughout. Driving Customers: On occasion driving may be required – the safe and efficient transport of customers. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Front of House and Ground Crew Team Leader and Business Manager to improve operational processes and visitor experiences. Continuous Improvement: Regularly review work processes, stay updated with product changes, training, and contribute to enhancing our overall customer service approach. Qualifications A cheerful and outgoing personality that reflects our commitment to exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and colleagues. Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and pride in your appearance. Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a culture of success and innovation. A full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence. Passenger Endorsement Certificate is an advantage.
