Job Description
Job Description A Field Service Engineer responsible for installation, configuration, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced Agilent instrumentation (LC, LC/MS, GC, GC/MS, Atomic Spectroscopy systems) across the region. The role includes advising clients on best practices, configurations, service plans, complex multimillion‑dollar deployments, and possibly application‑level support and training. Responsibilities Install, configure, and commission advanced Agilent instrumentation (LC, LC/MS, GC, GC/MS, Atomic Spectroscopy systems and more). Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair to ensure optimal instrument performance. Advise clients on best practices, configurations, and service plans to improve performance and reliability. Participate in complex, multimillion‑dollar instrument deployments in laboratory environments. Provide application‑level support and training to customers (long‑term). Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology. A Master’s or University Degree is strongly preferred. Up to 1–2 years of professional experience (including internships, part‑time, or graduate roles). Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills with a genuine interest in resolving technical issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and in a timely manner. Willingness and ability to travel frequently, with enthusiasm for visiting customers locally and interstate. Domestic and international travel is a significant part of this role. Additional Details This is a full‑time, weekly schedule. Remote work is an option. Pay ranges are determined by role, level, location, and related factors and will be discussed during the hiring process. Travel is required 50% of the time. Shift: Day. Duration: No End Date.
