Cleaner / Car Detailer (Casual)

We are looking for a Cleaner / Car Groomer or Vehicle Service Agent to join our team and keep our fleet looking its best. Essential to this role are physical fitness, a keen eye for detail, and a willingness to perform hard work. The position is casual and is available to work as and when needed. Location Blenheim Airport (1 Tancred Crescent), Blenheim, Marlborough, New Zealand. Responsibilities Prepare vehicles for customers by washing, vacuuming, waxing, detailing, and shuttling. Conduct minor repairs and maintenance as required. Assess vehicles for new damage and report according to procedure. Review returned vehicle gas levels and mileage, accurately inputting data into handheld devices. Refuel gas tanks, check fluid levels, tyre conditions, pressure, and tread depth. Complete necessary paperwork and documentation. Maintain cleanliness of the rental car lot and surrounding areas. Work as part of a team to ensure timely readiness of rental vehicles. Follow all safety and security protocols. Qualifications Full, clean, valid Class1 driver’s licence. Previous experience in a hands‑on or physical labour role. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment in all weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions. Team‑player with a friendly, positive, ‘can‑do’ attitude. Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards. Availability to work during operating hours 7am–8.30pm, 7days a week, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required. Benefits $24.89 per hour. Parking provided.
