Associate Geotechnical Engineer

Associate Geotechnical Engineer – Christchurch Jacobs is expanding its Geotechnical team in Christchurch and seeks an Associate Geotechnical Engineer to design and deliver infrastructure projects across transport, buildings, water, energy & power, and marine sectors. Responsibilities Design and delivery management of medium to large geotechnical engineering projects. Client relationship management, including commercial set‑up and technical delivery oversight. Development of geotechnical design strategies and documentation to industry standards. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, both in‑office and on‑site. Support regional connections and knowledge sharing across New Zealand and Australia. Qualifications Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology. Experience in similar roles, preferably within a consulting environment. Strong teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills. Proactive, business‑mindful attitude.
