Join Tonkin + Taylor as our Marketing Events Specialist on a 12-month fixed-term contract, starting end of August - early September, covering parental leave. Lead end-to-end delivery of conferences, client events, workshops and networking experiences Partner with teams across the business to plan and deliver engaging event experiences Manage event plans, timelines, suppliers, venues, budgets and logistics with precision Coordinate all event operations to ensure seamless execution and high-quality attendee experiences Track event outcomes, attendee feedback and key insights to support continuous improvement Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors and external partners Support broader Marketing team priorities as needed 4+ years’ experience in corporate events, marketing or brand activations Proven ability to deliver seamless events from concept to execution Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple moving parts Excellent written and verbal communication, including copy refinement and brand-aligned content A proactive, collaborative style—you take ownership, stay calm under pressure and bring positive energy Full NZ driver’s licence and flexibility to support event delivery outside standard hours when required Flexible working that works for you Vibrant social club with subsidised events State-of-the-art modern offices Learning, mentoring and development opportunities Exposure to industry experts, diverse projects and meaningful community work At Tonkin + Taylor, you’ll be part of a supportive, high-performing team where your work helps shape exceptional client experiences and strengthens meaningful connections.
