Job Description
Organisational Development & Learning Coordinator Location: Ōtautahi Christchurch, New Zealand – full‑time permanent (0.9 FTE considered). Overview This hands‑on coordination role supports learning, leadership development, engagement, culture and organisational development activities across Whānau Āwhina Plunket. You’ll keep our Organisational Development & Learning initiatives organised, accessible and easy for staff and leaders to engage with. Key Responsibilities Coordinate workshops, webinars and learning events, including logistics, communications, records and follow‑up. Support learning systems, maintain records and trackers, respond to queries and coordinate external professional development processes. Assist in reporting and evaluation, helping to improve simple systems and ways of working. Provide calm, helpful coordination support across a varied portfolio and spot practical improvements. Qualifications Strong coordination or administration experience, ideally within HR, OD, L&D, education or a people‑focused environment. Experience coordinating workshops, webinars or learning events, including logistics, communications and follow‑up. Confidence using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and collaboration tools. Experience working with systems, records, spreadsheets, trackers and shared filing processes. Experience with an LMS, content authoring tool, digital learning platform, survey tool or similar system. Practical, service‑focused approach, with good attention to detail, clear communication and a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and inclusive ways of working.
