Mō te tūnga | About the role The payroll service includes activities such as verification and assurance of the payroll data received via HR workflows, processing, reconciliation and reporting of the on-cycle and off-cycle pay runs, administering ACC, Superannuation, Deductions, and processing and reconciliation of Final Pays and Overpayments. The Payroll Advisor will work closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure these activities can be delivered accurately and on-time, ensuring compliance with all payroll-related legislation. Hybrid working arrangements – office based in Wellington with flexible WFH options. Key requirements of the role include: Proven ability to develop trust and credibility with managers and staff Payroll experience in a large organisation with proven experience operating HRIS and payroll systems, ideally SAP, is preferred Knowledge of relevant legislation that impacts on the operation of payroll services Highly developed problem solving and data analysis skills Excellence in customer service and people centric relationship skills Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture Nōu te rourou | What’s in it for you Oranga Tamariki offer a step based remuneration package, that offers progression annually for experience through tenure.
