Barista & Café All‑Rounder We're looking for an experienced Barista & Café All‑Rounder to join our team! If you’re passionate about great coffee, love providing exceptional customer service, and enjoy working in a fast‑paced café environment, we’d love to hear from you. In this role, you’ll work alongside our Café Manager to deliver consistently excellent coffee, provide friendly and efficient front‑of‑house service, assist with food preparation and cabinet presentation, and help keep the café running smoothly day to day. We’re looking for someone who can confidently switch between making quality espresso coffee, serving customers, handling the till, preparing food, and supporting the team wherever needed. You’ll thrive in a bustling café environment, can multitask with ease, think on your feet, and bring positive energy and a genuine smile to every shift. If you’re a true café all‑rounder who takes pride in creating a welcoming experience for every customer, we’d love to meet you. ABOUT US As a coffee roasting company, we thrive on building friendships with a huge variety of interesting and talented people who are embarking on new adventures every day. From food lovers, through to the farmers and growers who supply us, we get to connect these people and it is such a humbling and inspiring privilege. We have long standing coffee producer relationships which allow us access to exclusive and interesting coffees which are served daily on our coffee bars in New Zealand (Christchurch, New Plymouth, and Grey Lynn, Auckland) and also at our four sites in London. If you share our passion for a specialist hospitality offering, have exceptional food and coffee knowledge and a hunger to learn, we would love to hear from you. THE ROLE Minimum 1 year experience as a barista. Unwavering commitment to customer service, and an ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers. Prepare simple cabinet food and assist with kitchen prep tasks. Must be available to work weekdays and weekends as rostered. Knowledge of single‑origin espresso and soft brew techniques would be an advantage but not essential. An interest in learning about coffee is essential. Good personal presentation and hygiene. Ability to handle pressure and solve problems. Work front‑of‑house including register and customer engagement. Help maintain cleanliness, food safety, and compliance standards. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture. This role is a Part‑time permanent role, based on a 2‑3 day work week, starting 20th August or before. Applicants must be available to work both weekdays and weekends as this role will most likely include rostered days across both weekend and weekdays.
