Job Description Teaching Fellow role delivering high-quality Biomedical Science teaching, assessments, and student support. Opportunity to work at the University of Waikato’s Hillcrest campus. Key Responsibilities Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching across lectures, tutorials, workshops, laboratories, and fieldwork. Contribute to assessment design, paper administration, and mark high‑accuracy grading. Develop teaching materials and integrate innovative learning approaches, including online and blended methods. Train and supervise sessional assistants. Engage in curriculum development activities and promote inclusive, culturally safe learning environments. Qualifications & Experience Postgraduate qualification in a biomedical sciences discipline. Proven tertiary‑level teaching experience in relevant Biomedical Science areas. Strong organisational and administrative skills. Excellent communication and student engagement abilities. Capability to adopt and apply new teaching methods, models, and technologies. Commitment to cultural safety, equity, diversity, and partnership with Māori under Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Background in curriculum development is an advantage. Other Information Salary range: $79,211 to $111,169 per year, based on skills and experience. Workload: 37.5 hours a week, full‑time position. Location: Hillcrest campus, University of Waikato.
