Courier Driver

PPM Transport Limited is growing and seeking courier drivers with great attitudes to join the
\n team in Canterbury. We have a contract with a well-known courier company in New Zealand. It’s a full-time permanent role and the job requires someone who can do rotating rosters each week with flexible working hours.
\n We provide a point-to-point courier delivery service. Our drivers carry a variety of weights,
\n every day is unique and fun-filled!

As a Courier Driver, you must:
\n  Organizing and categorizing items to ensure efficient delivery processes.
\n  Load goods safely to ensure no damages
\n  Transporting mail, parcels, documents, and various items directly to customers’ locations and mailboxes.
\n  Verify loading documents
\n  Collecting signatures and processing payments for orders marked as cash- ondelivery, ensuring proper transaction handling.
\n  Maintaining comprehensive logs of items received and delivered to ensure traceability and efficiency in operations.
\n  Efficiently loading and unloading mail transport vehicles and internal mail handling equipment to streamline operations.
\n  Assisting with the receipt of incoming mail, verifying incorrectly addressed, missorted, undelivered, and redirected items.
\n  Follow accident procedures as and when required.
\n  Report vehicle maintenance needs.
\n  Be physically fit and capable.

The successful candidate must hold Class 1 NZ Driver’s license OR equivalent overseas license.

\n It’s a full-time role with 30+ hours of work per week and you will be working hours that
