Store Manager Location: Wellington Employment Type: Full‑time, Permanent (Minimum 30 hours per week)
\nAbout Us MAATRU Enterprises Limited operates a busy retail liquor store serving the local Wellington community. We offer a wide range of products and aim to provide responsible, customer‑focused service. Due to business growth, we are seeking an experienced and reliable Store Manager to oversee daily operations.
\nKey Responsibilities

Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures

Supervise staff, provide training, and prepare rosters
\n - \n
Oversee stock control, ordering, receiving, and inventory management
\n - \n
Ensure compliance with all licensing laws, responsible alcohol sales requirements, and health & safety regulations
\n - \n
Maintain store presentation, merchandising, and product displays
\n - \n
Handle customer enquiries, resolve issues, and ensure excellent service
\n - \n
Monitor sales performance and assist with basic reporting and budgeting
\n - \n
Implement store policies and ensure operational efficiency
\n
Skills & Experience Required

Minimum 2 years’ relevant experiences
\n - or Qulification level 5 or above \n
- \n
Strong understanding of retail operations and inventory control
\n - \n
Knowledge of responsible alcohol sales regulations (preferred; training can be provided)
\n - \n
Ability to lead a team and manage staff performance
\n - \n
Strong communication and customer service skills
\n - \n
Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
\n - \n
Physically able to perform manual lifting and stock handling
\n
Hours of Work Minimum 30 hours per week rostered between Monday and Sunday depending on business needs.
\nPay Rate $30.00 – $35.00 per hour, depending on experience.
\nLocation Wellington.
