Retail Manager
Job Description
We are looking for a suitable Store Manager for our Christchurch store, you will be solely managing the store with other staff reporting to and supporting you in your role.
\nDaily Tasks Involved in the role:
\n Duties are Dealing with suppliers, hiring, training and supervision of staff, providing excellent customer service, marketing and promoting the store, maintaining quality standards, budgeting, ordering and maintaining stock and creating policies for the store. You will also be in charge of store security and security processes.
\n We are looking for a mature staff member who are able to work on their own without any supervision and minimal training. They must be able to communicate to a diverse range of people and be able to maintain professional customer service in any circumstance.
\n As you will need to manage the operations of the store on your own, we require the candidate to be able demonstrate previous similar management experience. A Diploma level qualification in business/management/retail OR at least two years of relevant work experience to enable you to complete the tasks of the role is required.
Due to the nature of the position, you may be subject to drug testing prior to the provision of an Offer of Employment. You must also be able to pass a police check if needed, as you will also be responsible for the financial management of the store, as well as stock management.
We can guarantee a minimum of 30 hours for this role per week. The minimum payrate being offered is $30 an hour and a maximum of $35 per hour.
