Job Description

Our client, a large and well-established manufacturing organisation, is seeking a Senior Anaplan Model Builder to join its growing Connected Planning function. The business has made a significant investment in Anaplan as its enterprise planning platform, spanning financial planning and analysis, supply chain, and sales and operations planning (S&OP). This role sits at the centre of that programme. This is an opportunity to take ownership of complex, high-visibility models within a business where planning genuinely drives operational decisions, from demand forecasting and production scheduling through to workforce and capital expenditure planning. Responsibilities: Leading the end-to-end design and development of Anaplan models, from requirements gathering through to build, testing, deployment, and hypercare Translating business requirements from stakeholders into scalable, performant models Applying best-practice methodologies (including PLANS and DISCO) to ensure models remain sparse, efficient, and maintainable as the estate grows Managing data integration between Anaplan and enterprise systems (ERP, data warehouse) using Anaplan Data Hub, CloudWorks, and/or third-party integration tools Optimising existing models for performance, addressing sparsity and calculation efficiency issues Mentoring junior model builders and championing model-building standards across the Centre of Excellence Supporting user adoption through UX design in the New UX, training, and documentation Partnering with the business on the planning roadmap, identifying opportunities to extend the platform into new use cases Requirements: A minimum of 2 years' hands-on Anaplan model building experience, with at least one full lifecycle implementation delivered Strong understanding of core planning processes such as budgeting, forecasting, demand planning, and inventory or capacity planning Proficiency with data integration approaches Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge requirements constructively and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences A rigorous, detail-oriented approach to model governance, documentation, and testing #J-18808-Ljbffr
