Role Description The Administrative Support role is a part-time, on-site position located in Dunedin, providing day-to-day office and customer service support to the roofing operations. Responsibilities include answering phone calls and emails, greeting visitors, scheduling appointments, and coordinating job bookings and site visits. The role involves preparing and maintaining records, assisting with basic accounting tasks such as invoicing and data entry, and supporting document management for projects. The Administrative Support team member will interact regularly with customers, suppliers, and internal staff, ensuring accurate information flow and timely follow-up. This position also helps with general office duties, including filing, ordering office supplies, and supporting health and safety documentation as needed. Qualifications Strong Phone Etiquette and Customer Service skills for handling inquiries and supporting clients. Administrative Assistance experience, including scheduling, recordkeeping, and office organization. Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with customers, suppliers, and team members. Proficiency with office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, word processing) and comfort learning new systems. High attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment. Previous experience in construction, trades, or a service-based business is an advantage but not required.
