Secondary Processing Team Member

Location: Rotorua Join the team operating New Zealand’s largest producing Sawmill site! An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and reliable team member to join our Secondary Processing team on a permanent basis. This role will work 40 hours/week working 4 x 10 hour shifts, Monday to Thursday from 5.00am to 3.40pm. Responsibilities Safe operation of timber processing equipment and general yard teamwork, involving a variety of rotational duties such as: Timber stacking / manual handling Wrapping & Strapping timber packets Safe Machine Operation Recording & labelling of stock 8T Fork operation (when qualified) Due to the physical nature of this work, an excellent level of fitness and personal health is required. Previous experience in a similar role and holding a current forklift license would be an advantage. However, a hardworking and reliable team player who can demonstrate a Can-do and Safety-first attitude is essential. A pre-employment Medical & Drug Screening applies for all roles.
