CNC Laser Operator - Morning Shift

About the Role We’re seeking a skilled and proactive laser machine operator with strong problem‑solving abilities, keen attention to detail, and a passion for precision machinery to join our Stainless Plate Team. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 6am – 2pm. What you’ll do: Program, set up, and operate CNC laser machines Monitor equipment performance and resolve operational issues Ensure production quality and accuracy meet established standards Complete documentation to an intermediate level of detail and accuracy Keep machines clean and report any faults Follow all Health & Safety rules and work safely Qualifications CNC laser experience Overhead crane and/or forklift experience preferred (training available) Full driver licence (F‑endorsement an advantage) Good attention to detail and work ethic Able to work unsupervised Physically fit and reliable Good mechanical skills Able to read measurements and drawings Must currently reside in New Zealand or have a valid work visa Benefits Permanent role with guaranteed hours and weekly wages Supportive team and great workplace culture Health and wellness programme Flat structure and approachable leaders Enhanced parental leave Health & Safety We are committed to health and safety in our organisation.
