Located in Havelock North, the college balances tradition with a dynamic, innovative learning environment for 330 students. We are seeking a registrar to act as the primary ambassador and administrator for our prospective students and their families. This is a pivotal and highly visible role ensuring a seamless, positive and professional journey from initial inquiry through to becoming members of the Iona College community. This is a year round (works during the school holidays), part-time role for 20 hours per week and will include occasional travel and weekend/evening work to attend promotional events on behalf of the college. Key responsibilities manage enrolment applications, processes and relationships support international enrolments manage the onboarding of new students oversee our scholarship programme participate in College promotional opportunities Who we’re looking for proven experience working in a demanding role requiring personal resilience strong professional judgement and trustworthiness, while maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times proven relationship management and interpersonal skills, including outstanding written and verbal communication significant experience managing deadlines and multitasking, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail excellent time management with a proactive approach and proven organisational competency the ability to demonstrate initiative, innovation and capability improving systems and processes a high degree of competence with information technology, in particular Microsoft Office suite, Google Workspace and Adobe Acrobat (with the ability to become highly proficient with Kamar, Schoolbridge, Enrol and EnrolHQ) a willingness to engage in professional learning and development opportunities Interviews will be conducted as suitable applicants apply.
