Location Hutt, Wellington, Kenepuru and Masterton Hospitals Service Rheumatology Service Contract Permanent, full time (40 hours per week) Salary As per ASMS SECA About The Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Rheumatologist to join our district‑wide service and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients across our community. Our Rheumatology service is committed to delivering patient‑centred care through active disease management and shared decision‑making. We work in partnership with patients to control symptoms, prevent joint and organ damage, minimise disability, and support long‑term wellbeing. By providing timely and ongoing specialist care, we help people maintain their quality of life and participate fully in work, family, and community life. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive rheumatology care across a broad scope of practice, including outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations, and participation in the acute on‑call roster. We are looking for a clinician with a strong commitment to delivering high‑quality, compassionate care and contributing to the continued development of our service. About The Team You’ll be joining a collaborative team of seven Rheumatologists and five nurses who provide strong collegial support and work closely together to deliver high‑quality patient care. We are particularly proud of the expertise and dedication of our nursing team and are continuing to invest in the growth of our service, including expanding our musculoskeletal ultrasound capability.
