Clinical Administration Support – Nelson Hospital Permanent part‑time role in a rewarding, positive, and fast‑paced environment. About the Role As Clinical Administration Support you will apply your attention to detail, data‑management skills and accuracy in supporting clinical staff in accessing vital patient clinical content which saves lives and improves the patient care journey. The role involves producing accurate records, assisting patients and staff with queries, and performing general administrative duties as required. It is a permanent role, working 40 hours per fortnight (0.5FTE) Monday to Friday, from 8:00AM to 12:00PM. About the Team / Service / Location Our Clinical Administration team plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital facilities. By providing essential administrative and secretarial assistance, we enable clinical teams to focus on delivering exceptional patient care. From coordinating schedules to managing documentation, we are the backbone of the hospital’s daily operations. About You As Clinical Administration Support, you will: Have a bright, outgoing personality and possess excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering a consistently high level of customer service. Be a competent typist and possess a sound knowledge of the MS Office Suite. Be highly empathetic and respect the importance of maintaining patient confidentiality. Demonstrate the ability to manage a busy workload. Knowledge of medical terminology would be an advantage, but is not essential.
