About the Role Welcoming patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner. Managing appointment bookings and clinician schedules. Answering telephone enquiries and directing calls appropriately. Registering new patients and maintaining accurate patient records. Processing patient payments and balancing daily transactions. Managing incoming correspondence and administrative tasks.Supporting the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow. Providing a positive patient experience while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. About You Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Outstanding customer service with a genuine passion for helping people. Strong organisational and time management skills. The ability to remain calm, adaptable and professional in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail and accuracy. Confidence using Microsoft Office and computer-based systems. Experience using patient management systems, particularly Med Tec Evolution (or similar), is highly desirable. Previous experience in a medical reception or healthcare administration role is preferred. Knowledge of ACC processes, patient enrolment, recall systems, referrals and the New Zealand primary healthcare environment will be viewed favourably.
