Carpenter
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Carpenter to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of residential and commercial carpentry projects while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
\nKey Responsibilities:

Read and interpret building plans, drawings, and specifications.
\n - \n
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and other construction materials.
\n - \n
Construct, install, and repair building frameworks, walls, floors, roofs, and other structures.
\n - \n
Install doors, windows, cabinetry, flooring, and other fixtures.
\n - \n
Perform renovation, maintenance, and repair work as required.
\n - \n
Ensure all work complies with New Zealand building codes and health and safety regulations.
\n - \n
Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment.
\n - \n
Work collaboratively with supervisors, contractors, and other tradespeople.
\n - \n
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite.
\n
Requirements:

At least 2 years of relevant carpentry experience, or a relevant qualification.
\n - \n
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools.
\n - \n
Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings.
\n - \n
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
\n - \n
Commitment to workplace health and safety.
\n - \n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
\n - \n
Full driver's licence preferred.
