About the opportunity We are seeking a talented and driven Business Analyst to support both our New Zealand based and international teams. In this role, you will design, develop, and continuously improve reporting and analytical solutions that enable strategic planning and support high‑quality decision‑making. You will operate as a trusted business partner, working cross‑functionally with stakeholders across International Sales, Data Analytics, Data Platform, and Finance. The role requires the ability to understand business context, translate information needs into structured reporting solutions, and apply sound judgement to deliver meaningful insights. This position is based at our global head office in East Tāmaki and reports to the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. Key responsibilities Design and deliver reporting and analytical solutions that support business planning, performance monitoring, and decision‑making across International Sales. Translate stakeholder requirements into scalable, structured reporting outputs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and data governance standards. Maintain and improve existing reporting frameworks, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance relevance, efficiency, and usability. Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, exercising professional judgement to ensure accuracy, consistency, and meaningful interpretation of results. Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and timely reporting to senior stakeholders, supporting informed decision‑making at both operational and strategic levels. Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Data Platform and Data Analytics, providing guidance on reporting approaches, definitions, and KPIs. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing enhancements to reporting processes, tools, and data structures. Support capability uplift across the business through training and education on reporting methodologies, systems, and performance metrics. About you To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate strong analytical capability, sound judgement, and the ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment. You will be comfortable working with moderate levels of complexity and ambiguity, taking ownership of your outputs while contributing to broader team objectives. Key skills and experience 3+ years’ experience in accounting, finance, or business analytics Advanced Excel skills (including Macros, Power Query, and Power Pivot) Experience with Power BI and DAX, including development of scalable reporting models Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to extract, transform, and analyse data from both structured and unstructured data sources SAP ERP experience (preferred) Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines Demonstrated ability to apply analytical thinking, solve problems, and deliver practical, insight‑driven recommendations Working with us Care to join a supportive environment?
