We're looking for an experienced Personal Assistant to join our Lend & Protect Tribe, providing trusted support to the Tribe Lead and helping keep one of ASB's largest and busiest technology and business tribes running smoothly. About the Tribe The Lend & Protect Tribe plays a key role in delivering and evolving the experiences, products and services that support ASB customers through some of life's most important financial decisions. Working across lending and protection journeys, the tribe brings together a diverse group of people focused on delivering better outcomes for customers through collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement. This is a large and dynamic environment where priorities move quickly, stakeholder engagement is high, and no two days are the same. About the Role This role provides proactive executive and administrative support to the Lend & Protect Tribe Lead while also helping coordinate key activities that enable the wider tribe to operate effectively. You’ll be a trusted partner who anticipates needs, manages competing priorities, and ensures important activities, communications and events are delivered seamlessly. Alongside supporting the Tribe Lead, you’ll play an important role in keeping the wider tribe connected and organised. Key responsibilities include: Managing diaries, schedules, inboxes and priorities for the Tribe Lead Coordinating meetings, workshops, travel arrangements and other business activities Supporting communication, documentation and information flow across the tribe Planning and delivering large-scale tribe events, including quarterly planning events and team engagements Building strong relationships with stakeholders across ASB and acting as a key point of coordination Managing expenses, purchase requests, catering and other operational requirements Maintaining records, documentation and administrative processes with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality Anticipating issues before they arise and proactively helping remove obstacles to delivery Supporting continuous improvement initiatives that enhance team effectiveness and ways of working About You You’ll be an experienced Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant or senior administrator who enjoys working in a high-energy environment where priorities shift and no two days look the same. You’re naturally organised, calm under pressure and able to balance multiple demands while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. You take ownership, think ahead and are comfortable making decisions and solving problems independently. We’re looking for someone who brings: Proven experience supporting senior leaders in a complex business environment Exceptional organisation, planning and prioritisation skills Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience coordinating events, meetings and business activities Strong judgement, discretion and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment A proactive, self-starting approach and the confidence to take initiative Strong digital literacy and confidence using modern workplace tools and collaboration platforms Adaptability, resilience and a continuous improvement mindset Working for ASB At ASB, we’re committed to helping our people thrive, both professionally and personally.
