About the job We’re looking for an experienced Administration Team Leader to join our team in Auckland to guide our Administration team and help deliver exceptional support across the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing people leadership with hands‑on finance administration while working in a collaborative, supportive environment. As Administration Team Leader, you’ll oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our finance administration function, supporting a team of four while ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient financial processes. The role involves: Leading, mentoring and supporting a high-performing finance administration team. Managing invoicing, customer claims, work in progress, and debtor processes. Overseeing purchase orders, supplier invoices, payroll timesheets and job costing. Working closely with operational teams, managers, suppliers and customers to resolve queries and deliver outstanding service. Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and ways of working. Coaching and developing team members through regular feedback and ongoing learning. What you’ll bring 1-2 years experience in finance administration, accounts or business administration. Previous experience leading or mentoring people. Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both office-based and field teams. Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence learning new systems. A proactive approach and a genuine desire to improve processes. All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer’s satisfaction.
