Senior Designer

Senior Designer – IAG Creative Services Fixed‑term full‑time role based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) or Te Whanganui‑a‑Tara (Wellington). What You'll Do Develop creative concepts and visual solutions that bring marketing, communication and brand campaigns to life across multiple channels. Create high‑quality design assets spanning digital advertising, social content, EDMs, video, web experiences, environmental graphics and customer communications. Partner with copywriters, marketers and other stakeholders to translate briefs into compelling creative outcomes across some of NZ's most iconic brands including AMI, State and NZI. Present creative ideas and design recommendations with confidence, building stakeholder understanding and support through clear rationale. Apply brand guidelines consistently while bringing fresh thinking and creativity to every brief. Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, ensuring high‑quality creative is delivered on time and to a professional standard. What You'll Bring Senior Designer‑level experience, with 5+ years working in a Designer or Senior Designer role within an agency or in‑house creative environment. A strong portfolio showcasing creative thinking, exceptional design craft and impactful campaign work across multiple channels. Expertise in typography, layout and visual storytelling, with a strong understanding of brand design principles. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and confidence delivering work from concept through to final production. Experience presenting creative concepts and collaborating effectively with a broad range of stakeholders. Experience in video editing, motion design, animation or Figma will be highly regarded. A proactive, collaborative approach and willingness to roll up your sleeves and contribute wherever needed.
