As our Safety & Wellbeing Coordinator , you’ll influence real outcomes from keeping our people safe and supporting successful return-to-work programmes, to shaping and delivering meaningful wellbeing initiatives across the organisation.\n
The Opportunity \n
\nYou’ll be the go-to expert for H&S and wellbeing, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance requirements are met and our safety culture continues to improve. You will play a key role in managing our ACC Accredited Employer Programme (AEP) and supporting effective injury management outcomes.\n
\nKey responsibilities: \n
    \n
  • Manage the ACC Accredited Employer Programme (AEP) in partnership with Wellnz
  • \n
  • Lead injury management and return-to-work processes
  • \n
  • Coordinate and drive the Safety & Wellbeing Committee
  • \n
  • Maintain HSE systems and reporting (Vault/Damstra)
  • \n
  • Prepare monthly safety reports and board dashboards
  • \n
  • Deliver risk, compliance, and incident reporting
  • \n
  • Support internal and external safety training programmes
  • \n
  • Assist with audits and accreditations (ACC, SafePlus, StaffSure, PREQUAL)
  • \n
  • Promote a strong health, safety, and wellbeing culture
  • \n
About you \n
    \n
  • Experience in a health & safety, HSE, or wellbeing-focused role
  • \n
  • Knowledge of NZ health and safety legislation and ACC processes
  • \n
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • \n
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • \n
  • Experience with reporting systems or safety databases
  • \n
  • Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement
  • \n
