Clinical Workforce Coordinator - Women’s Health Clinical Workforce Coordinator: Womens and Childrens Health - Waikato Hospital Permanent, Part-time 36 hours per week, Monday - Friday Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders. About the Role Waikato Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Workforce Coordinator to join the Women’s and Children’s Health team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role provides workforce coordination and administrative support to the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Service. The successful candidate will work closely with both junior and senior medical staff to ensure effective workforce planning and service delivery. Key responsibilities Coordinating and maintaining medical workforce rosters for junior and senior doctors. Liaising with medical staff to support roster planning, leave management, and workforce requirements. Providing administrative support for medical recruitment processes, including onboarding and credentialing activities. Supporting workforce management and operational processes across Women’s and Children’s Health services. Assisting with the delivery of a high‑quality, efficient, and well‑coordinated medical workforce service. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to build effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders in a fast‑paced healthcare environment. About you We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic team player, who has administration experience with the ability to learn new systems and processes easily. This role will suit someone who loves to use initiative, enjoys a busy workload, works efficiently and has great attention to detail. Ideally, you need to be someone who is resilient to learning through making mistakes, as it is a challenging job to orientate to with lots of rostering intricacies to learn!
