Senior BAS Accountant

I'm working with a well-established Tauranga firm that has a strong reputation in the market. This is a genuine opportunity for a CA qualified (or nearly qualified) senior accountant who enjoys minimal, but high-level compliance, reviewing work, and getting involved in meaningful project work beyond the day-to-day. There's strong scope to contribute to process improvement, system efficiencies, and the integration of new technology across the firm. If you like improving how things are done rather than just doing them, this will appeal. The Role You'll manage your own portfolio and act as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services. Reviewing work completed by junior team members Managing complex compliance and tax matters Preparing and reviewing financial statements and returns Supporting cashflow forecasting, management reporting, and advisory projects Assisting with process and system improvements as new tech is embedded Contributing to workflow efficiencies during integration There is also exposure to interesting project work including forecasting, valuations, business planning, and broader advisory support.
