Clinical Administration Support (1.0 FTE Fixed Term) Nelson Clinical Administration Support, Nelson Hospital, FixedTerm (6 months) Full time Work in a rewarding, positive and fast paced environment Make a meaningful contribution to the patient journey About the Role As Clinical Administration Support, you will apply your attention to detail, skill for data management and accuracy in supporting our clinical staff in accessing vital patient clinical content which saves lives and improves our patient’s care journey. This role involves producing accurate records, assisting patients and staff with queries as well as general administrative duties as may be needed. This is a Fixed Term, full-time role for up to 6 months working 80 hours per fortnight ( 1.0 FTE ), Monday to Friday, between 8.00AM to 4.30PM. Hours to be discussed. About the Team/Service/ Location Our Clinical Support Service team plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the patient’s journey. By providing essential administrative support, we enable clinical teams to focus on delivering exceptional patient care. From coordinating schedules to managing documentation, we are the backbone of the hospital’s daily operations. About you As Clinical Administration Support, you will: Have a bright, outgoing personality; Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering a consistently high level of customer service; Be a competent typist and possess a sound knowledge of the MSOffice Suite; Be highly empathetic, respect the importance of maintaining patient confidentiality and will have demonstrated the ability to manage a busy workload. Medical terminology would be advantageous but not essential. Our preferred applicants will be required to undertake a computer skills assessment. The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.
