Role Summary As Director of Finance, you will support the CFO in effectively managing the overall financial performance of the business, while supporting Department Heads in effectively managing their respective business functions. This is a 14‑month fixed‑term opportunity covering parental leave. Key Responsibilities Act as trusted advisor to the CFO and senior leadership on financial performance Oversee monthly management reporting, P&L forecasts and Board reporting packs Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, quality & regulatory, research & development to provide financial insights and support decision‑making Manage half‑year and full‑year financial statements under IFRS Lead the bi‑annual audit process through to unqualified opinion Oversee international tax compliance, including transfer pricing and US filings Manage treasury, cash flow, working capital and banking facilities Oversee payroll and delegated financial authorities across the business Lead and develop the Finance team Key Skills & Experience Required CA/CPA qualified with 8-10+ years’ commercial experience Big 4 background highly regarded Strong technical grounding in financial reporting and IFRS Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills Proven people leadership and stakeholder engagement capability Comfortable operating in a fast‑changing environment Manufacturing sector exposure preferred What’s In It For You This is a brilliant opportunity to join a genuinely international business spanning New Zealand and the US.
