Personal Assistant – Administrative support to GM Risk & GM Commercial Banking & Business Strategy At ASB, we’re all about helping our customers and communities get one step ahead. Behind every great leader is exceptional support, and we’re looking for a highly organised, proactive and relationship-focused Personal Assistant to provide support to our GM Risk – Business & Corporate Banking and GM Commercial Banking & Business Strategy. Based in Auckland, this is a pivotal role that helps keep two senior leaders, and their wider teams, operating at their best. Te mahi ki ASB | What you'll do You’ll provide seamless administrative, coordination and communication support, enabling our General Managers to focus on strategic priorities and delivering great outcomes for the business. Responsibilities include: Managing complex diaries, correspondence and administration. Proactively monitoring and responding to emails, drafting communications and helping manage competing priorities. Coordinating meetings, functions, team events and travel arrangements. Preparing professional presentations, reports, statistics and documentation. Acting as a key liaison point for internal and external stakeholders. Supporting team operations and business processes through systems such as accounts payable and people-related administration. Taking meeting minutes and ensuring follow-up actions are coordinated. Building strong relationships and helping identify opportunities to improve processes and team efficiency. We’re looking for an exceptional Personal Assistant who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in being one step ahead. This opportunity will suit an experienced Personal Assistant who loves being the person that keeps everything running seamlessly. You’ll be highly responsive, exceptionally organised, and comfortable working autonomously, anticipating needs, managing competing priorities and ensuring executive leaders are always supported to operate at their best. In addition, you’ll bring: At least 5 years’ experience in a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant or similar senior administrative role. Outstanding organisation, planning and time management skills. The ability to prioritise effectively and manage changing demands with ease. Strong Microsoft Office capability, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong judgement, initiative and problem‑solving capability. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. The confidence and professionalism to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
