Full Time | 40–45 hours per week | Competitive remuneration package Qualified or experienced Butcher At New World Centre City, our Butchery team takes pride in delivering excellent customer experiences through quality products, great service, and a fresh, premium offer. We are now looking for a qualified or experienced Butcher to join our team and help us continue delivering the excellence New World is known for. As a Butcher, you’ll play a key role in preparing and presenting a quality range of butchery products. You’ll take pride in maintaining high standards of freshness, consistency, food safety, and customer service. Hours Full Time | 40–45 hours per week Sunday–Thursday | 5:00am–1:30/2:30pm Tasks/Responsibilities You’ll contribute to an excellent customer experience by: Producing New World’s range of quality, fresh butchery products Presenting butchery products, displays, and the shop area to a high standard Ensuring stock is available for customers throughout the day Cleaning and maintaining butchery tools, equipment, and preparation areas Helping our customers ‘find their wonderful, every day at New World’ Experience/Qualifications We’re looking for someone with proven butchery experience and, ideally, a relevant qualification. You’ll have a strong work ethic, take pride in what you do, and bring a positive contribution to a healthy, safe, and engaged workplace. You may also be ready to support and inspire the next generation of Butchers. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t hold a Butchery qualification. If you have the right experience, work ethic, and attitude, we’d still like to hear from you.
