Department of Conservation (DOC) is seeking a Research Technician to conduct field-based research on the Critically Endangered Pukunui/Southern New Zealand Dotterel on Rakiura Stewart Island during the upcoming breeding season. This full-time, fixed-term role runs from 21 September 2026 to 15 January 2027, with rostered 10 days on and 4 days off and ferry travel provided for rostered shifts.
