Clinical Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced leader to oversee practice operations, develop frontline teams, and help deliver culturally safe, patient-centered healthcare services. The Fono is seeking an experienced, values-driven Clinical Coordinator to lead the day-to-day operations of one of our busy healthcare practice sites. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of frontline services, exceptional patient experiences, operational excellence, and the ongoing development of our administration and reception teams. As the operational leader at your site, you will oversee reception services, appointment utilisation, patient flow, revenue collection, claims processing, data integrity, quality assurance, health and safety compliance, and practice presentation. You will play a critical role in supporting The Fono’s Integrated Model of Care across medical, dental, mind health, social services, public health, training, and outreach services. About You Proven experience leading reception, administration, or customer service teams within healthcare or another complex service environment. Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, performance management, and staff development. Demonstrated experience managing operational workflows, service delivery, and customer experience outcomes. Sound financial administration skills, including revenue collection, claims processing, reconciliations, and reporting. Strong ICT capability, including Microsoft Office and patient management systems such as Medtech Evolution (or similar). Excellent organisational, communication, and relationship management skills and an understanding of health and safety obligations and quality compliance requirements. A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities. An appreciation of Pacific cultures, values, and communities, with a commitment to cultural safety and health equity. A current full New Zealand Driver Licence.
