Clinical Leader – Dietetics (Timaru Hospital, Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora; Permanent, 1FTE, Monday to Friday) Overview Provides day‑to‑day leadership, operational management and planning for the dietetics team to deliver a sustainable, high‑quality service that contributes to organisational goals. The position has a clinical component and works collaboratively with allied health professionals. The role is responsible for clinically effective assessment and intervention and provides clinical leadership within the team and service. Responsibilities Oversee clinical assessment and intervention activities, lead the dietary team, ensure operational efficiency, coordinate with allied health professionals, and contribute to the service’s quality and sustainability. Qualifications Registered Dietitian in New Zealand with a current practising certificate Practice within relevant legislation Current New Zealand Full Driver’s Licence Evidence of ongoing educational development (or undertaking further tertiary level education) Annual New Zealand Practicing Certificate Benefits Salary is covered by the terms and conditions of the PSA Allied Health Scientific and Technical Collective, C1‑3.
