The Role Reporting to the Contracts Performance Manager, this role will see you as the subject matter expert for contract change control & engineering drawing coordination, acting as a key link between commercial and technical teams. This newly created position provides a unique blend of commercial & technical responsibilities, with exposure across key relationships and major investment projects. This multifaceted and dynamic role will see you, Supporting contract negotiations related to service delivery with external contractors and consultants Managing the contract change control processes by documenting changes within contracts related to broad contents and detailed financials Administering the drawing management system, maintaining accurate records and ensuring correct versions & revisions are appropriately maintained Coordinating the approval and release of drawings to contractors & consultants Validating drawings for compliance, scale, and accuracy About You Coming from a background in coordination and administration, you may currently be working in water, electricity, rail, or a similar infrastructure environment with the desire to join the electricity sector, overseeing critical & high value contracts. Alternatively, you may be from an engineering, architecture, or related consultancy with experience in administering a drawing management system and coordinating with external clients. The role will see you possessing, A good understanding of contract change control processes Having experience utilising and managing data within a drawing management system such as M-Files, MFusion and StationWare Software, or similar platforms The ability to interpret engineering drawings and understand revision process Experience utilising and understanding contract standards related to NZS 3910:2023 is desirable but not essential A methodical and detail-oriented approach to problem solving The ability work autonomously and independently Strong written and verbal communication skills The Opportunity Wellington Electricity is making significant investments in its network, entering one of its largest periods of asset investment.
