Transport Administrator

Transport Administrator – Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Hospital Fixed Term/Full‑Time, 80 hours per fortnight (1FTE). About the Role As a Transport Administrator you will play a vital role in helping patients access healthcare services by coordinating travel and accommodation through the National Travel Assistance Scheme. You will work with patients, whānau, clinical teams, transport providers and accommodation services to ensure travel arrangements are organised efficiently, accurately and with a strong focus on patient experience. You will manage travel bookings, process applications and claims, maintain accurate records, coordinate invoices and provide exceptional customer service to patients navigating their journey. About the Team / Service / Location The Transport Team is dedicated to ensuring patients can access healthcare services safely and efficiently within and outside the region. The team works closely with clinical teams and external providers to coordinate travel and accommodation solutions that support positive patient experiences and equitable access. Located in Hastings, you will join a supportive and collaborative team committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and whānau every day. About you Organised, customer‑focused professional with strong administration skills and a passion for helping people. Proven administration experience in a busy customer‑focused environment. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications, data entry and record management. Experience processing invoices and maintaining accurate documentation. Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with the ability to work collaboratively across a wide range of stakeholders. Proactive, culturally aware and solutions‑focused approach with a commitment to exceptional customer service.
