Mō te Tūranga | About the role We're the squad that keeps ASB's core finance and procurement systems running smoothly. From day-to-day support to working on some complex and interesting problems, we're here to make sure the tools our finance teams rely on are reliable, scalable, and continuously improving. You'll be part of a small, tight-knit team that has real autonomy where we make our own decisions about how we prioritise and get things done. Your voice matters here, and your ideas will help shape how we work. We work as a fully cross-functional agile team, which means you'll get exposure to a wide range of tech and challenges across the stack. We're looking for someone who brings a good mix of the following skills and experience: Experience supporting enterprise SaaS and on-premises applications Working knowledge of system-to-system integration(e.g., APIs, SFTP, SQL transformations) Hands-on experience with cloud platforms(e.g., Azure, AWS, Oracle, Google) Understanding of Agile ways of workingand collaborative delivery Competence in Linux and Windows server administration, including patching and troubleshooting Strong technical and analytical troubleshooting skills Bring a minimum 2-4 years' experience in these key areas While this role does not focus on database administration, you'll be supported by a dedicated on-premises team that manages the Oracle backend. You're a collaborative and proactive systems specialist who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and supporting critical financial applications in a fast-paced environment. You're curious about new technologies, comfortable working across both cloud and on-premise systems, and thrive in a team that values knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and accountability. You’ll bring a solid background in system integration, application support, and platform administration , with the ability to troubleshoot issues across multiple layers of enterprise systems. Your communication and documentation skills will help you work effectively with technical and business stakeholders, and your initiative will help drive improvements to the stability and performance of our financial platforms. Highly Valued Experience Middleware or integration background (any iPaaS or OIC experience a plus) Exposure to financial or ERP systems (e.g., Infinite or accounting applications) Ability to work in regulated environments where accuracy and compliance matter Familiarity with test automation tools and continuous improvement practices Experience with Planning Analytics (TM1) - Application Support Linux/Windows Server, IIS Te mahi ki ASB | Working for ASB ASB's sense of who we are and what we stand for is grounded in our values.
