CT Senior Technologist

Unique opportunity for an experienced CT/MIT to work alongside our highlymotivated team, while overseeing and driving the CT department for CanopyImaging in our Ormiston Town and Ormiston Hospital clinics. Canopy Imaging setthe benchmark in the industry for qualityimaging and exceptional patient care and are seeking a Senior CT /Medical Imaging Technologist to work 24 hours (Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays)across these clinics. The role will include some Xray and Theatre Imaging whenrequired. This role may suit someone currently working as a team leader who is looking tostep up into a leadership role, or may suit a current Senior looking for achange. About the role: Managing the operations of the CT department across the Ormiston clinics,including machine outages and reviewing the patient diaries Ensuring the department complies with all clinical and health and safetystandards, protocols, and maintaining good document control Overseeing training of staff, role development, regular team meetingsand staff appraisals Providing support for Radiologists and ensuring patients are providedwith the best patient care The successful candidate will: Have proven ability to act with integrity and adherence to the highestethical standards Have leadership experience, and be an effective communicator Have a sound knowledge of clinical and technical CT & General X-rayskills Be committed to continuous improvement in a team environment Be registered or eligible for registration with the New Zealand MRTBoard, and hold a full current NZ Annual Practicing Certificate Have a valid New Zealand working visa What’s In It for You?
