About This Role Haumaru Whānau is expanding its global delivery capability. We're hiring a Program Manager — Global Projects , based in Auckland, to lead the end-to-end delivery of our worldwide project portfolio spanning cybersecurity assessments, compliance programs (PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2), managed security services, and technology rollouts. You will report to the Chief Operating Officer and work across all Haumaru entities — Technologies, Labs, Code, Foundation, and Tāne — coordinating delivery teams, clients, partners, and regulators. This is a strategic, hands‑on role for a senior delivery leader who can bring order and rhythm to a fast‑growing, multi‑region professional services business. Markets Covered New Zealand — head office, government and enterprise clients Australia — enterprise, financial services, and regulated industries United Arab Emirates (UAE) — DESC, SIA, and regional compliance engagements Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) — NCA (ECC, CCC, CSCC, OTCC, DCC, TCC, SCyWF) and SAMA programs Pakistan — delivery hub and regional client base United States (USA) — PCI DSS, SOC 2, and North American enterprise engagements Responsibilities Own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for programs across the Haumaru group: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, UAT, go‑live, and post‑implementation review. Establish and run PMO governance — scope, schedule, budget, risk, issues, dependencies, change control, and benefits realisation. Coordinate cross‑functional delivery teams across New Zealand, Australia, UAE, KSA, Pakistan, and USA. Serve as the primary point of accountability to clients (C‑suite), banking and fintech partners, technology vendors, regulators, and internal senior management. Maintain a live risk and issue register; elevate and resolve blockers with speed and clarity. Manage vendor and partner selection, contracting, and performance across the portfolio. Prepare executive‑level status reporting, portfolio dashboards and board updates covering delivery progress, milestones, financials and benefits. Support pre‑sales and proposal development by scoping delivery approach, timelines, resource plans and commercial estimates. Champion a delivery methodology that blends Agile execution with PRINCE2/PMP governance, tuned to regulated engagements (PCI DSS, ISO 27001, banking, fintech). Coach project managers and delivery leads; grow the PMO's maturity and capability over time. Requirements Required 10+ years managing complex programs or portfolios in professional services, consulting, banking, fintech or technology. Proven multi‑country delivery experience with distributed teams. Strong stakeholder management up to C‑suite and board level. Demonstrated success with vendor and partner management, commercial oversight, and contract governance. Comfort with BI, reporting and portfolio dashboards; fluency turning data into executive narrative. Excellent written and verbal English; able to translate between business and technical audiences. Existing right to work in New Zealand, or eligibility under a skilled migrant pathway. Nice to have PMP, PRINCE2, Agile / SAFe / Scrum or equivalent program/project management certifications (preferred, not required). Direct exposure to cybersecurity, GRC or managed security services delivery. Prior involvement in ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOC 2 or similar assurance programs. Experience delivering into banking, fintech, remittance or payments environments. Experience building or maturing a PMO from the ground up.
