Role Summary We are seeking skilled and compassionate Support Workers to provide person‑centred care in clients’ homes, supporting daily living, palliative care, bowel care, dementia, mental health, and medication management. The role accommodates flexible schedules and is designed to fit around your life. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily activities and personal care. Support palliative, bowel, dementia, mental health, and medication management. Provide safe, respectful, and culturally appropriate care in clients’ homes. Follow care plans and document interventions. Collaborate with care teams and communicate client needs. Training & Development We provide practical and online training, induction, ongoing refresher courses and clear development pathways. Skills & Qualifications Hold a Level 3 or Level 4 Health and Wellbeing qualification or have equivalent, relevant experience. Spinal injury experience. Stoma Management experience. Experience using a full, standing and two‑person hoist. Experience administering prescribed medication. Love working with people and helping them thrive. Willingness to learn, reflect, and adapt the approach to what matters for each person. Experience in or exposure to caregiving, disability support, aged care, community work, or other people‑facing roles. Committed to culturally safe, respectful support for people from all backgrounds. Intuitive and responsive to people’s needs. Own a smartphone. Have the right to work in New Zealand. Full/restricted driver’s license. Benefits Flexible hours – mornings, evenings, weekends.
